Visual Field Testing
Your visual field refers to the area in which you can see,
including your peripheral vision. A Visual Field Test is used to
help determine any loss of vision and is a useful aid in
diagnosing diseases.
Based on the findings of your Annual Eye Health Evaluation,
Dr. Gramanzini may determine that it is necessary to check for
any loss of your visual field, or monitor any loss of vision
previously diagnosed. Also, certain medications and medical
conditions can affect your field of vision, so it may be
necessary to monitor any possible ocular effects on a regular
basis.
Visual Field Testing can help diagnose and/or detect any
possible effects of:
-
Loss of Vision
-
Glaucoma
-
Disorders of the Retina
|
-
Stroke
-
Brain Tumors
-
Diabetes
